DESIGN INTENT – To design a curated dining experience for expat students and working professionals engaged in up-skilling, where the users can unwind at the experiential space, which is conceptually elegant, exclusive, sustainable, designed to ensure a holistic spatial and sensorial experience.

PLAN AND ORIENTATION – Planning and spatial organization commenced on establishing the cardinal directions for efficient built form performance based on orientation and vastu compliance. The prevailing local winds are from the North, North east and South west and the site is at the beginning of a valley towards the south, with a cricket ground on the north-west, roads and tall built forms on the east and north-east with vacant low-lying land on the west.

FINS & ORIENTATION – The fins function to shade the indoor dining areas from the harsh sunlight incident from the west and south west. Aesthetic application by alternating the fins with double height DGU, harmonious distribution of the pair along the elevations and their dimensions are customized and so designed to enhance the visual delight. The double height-oriented shading fins are impressive, functional and enhance the opulence during daylight or under artificial illumination.

DINING SPACES – The curated dining spaces are experiential. They are intermittently infused with green spaces and skylights.

Exclusive customized interior ambience with plush indoor and outdoor furniture supplements the elegance, exclusivity and opulence intended. Sensorial and spatial experiences are ensured by engaging the 5 senses through holistic integration of architecture and interior design.

SEATING ARRANGEMENT AND TYPOLOGY – Considering the multiple and diversely themed spaces and settings we have created and curated. We have provided several types of cluster seating to break the monotony in seating styles and aesthetics, making each seating area uniquely exclusive. Some of the seating’s are themed on biophilic design as depicted in the plan and proposed views.

DINING ROOMS BY THE ATRIUM – The private dining rooms by the Atrium are intended for closed, limited seating and private get-togethers. A sense of al-fresco is achieved for this space, which while being private provides the visual treat of looking into the openness of the landscaped outdoors, with accessibility to view the stage and listen to the music when performances are on. The interiors are kept plush and elegant while walls are clad in pop of color with contemporary art setting the background.

SPORTS BAR – An elevated circular contemporary structure, having superior visibility across the cricket field and the outdoor dining/atrium spaces. Designed to elevate the ambience, this limited and exclusive outpost is aimed to be a striking feature during daylight or under artificial illumination.

LIVE PIZZA STATION – The brief required a live pizza station. We designed and oriented it as a show-stopper.
